DONATION SUPPORT
Support the VAC!
Your donation goes toward the following areas:
Values Voter Guide - A questionnaire surveying family, culture of life, marriage and other concerns is sent to each candidate for school board, city council, and Board of Supervisors. From these responses, a voter guide is prepared and published on the VAC website, distributed in hard copy through the churches, and e-Values Voter Guide distribution through Operation: Values Matter. |
National Day of Prayer - The Values Advocacy Council with the Transformation Alliance of Santa Clara County (TASCC) organize the National Day of Prayer activities. In the morning over 100 pastors gather for a time of prayer and fellowship at the Pastor Prayer Breakfast in the Rotunda at San Jose City Hall. Pastors and ministry leaders guide the prayer. In the evening, a "Time of Prayer, Praise and Worship" is celebrated in the Plaza at San Jose City Hall. An outstanding worship team leads the musical portion joined by Pastors and ministry leaders guiding those assembled in prayer for our valleyand the needs of its people. |
Operation Values Matter - The gathering and data entry of contact information for Values Families to be used solely for the Values Advocacy Council and its affiliates for purposes of alerting Values Families when a governmental body is contemplating an action or acts contrary to the best interests of Values parents, families, and children. Additionally, we are able to electronically distribute a personalized Values Voter Guide to each Operation Values Matter registrant in each election. |
Church/Pastor Involvement - VAC sponsors Pastors Breakfasts including the National Day of Prayer-Silicon Valley Pastors Breakfast and the Pastor’s Legal Briefing for the purpose of keeping Pastors abreast of events, trends and activities that directly affect them and their congregations. We anticipate over 150 pastors coming together for prayer and fellowship at The National Day of Prayer Pastor Prayer Breakfast in May 2010. |
General Fund - VAC has other projects that continue to need funding including our media outreach, community service opportunities, and our Distinguished Speaker series. |
